Title:
Ambulatory Patient Financial Services Manager


Job Description:
As a member of the Patient Financial Services leadership team within RevWorks, you will oversee and manage daily operations of patient financial service associates. In the PFS Manager role success is driven by setting and enforcing operational policies, procedures, and guidelines. Your role is vital to client satisfaction driving key activities by maintaining effective communication with clients, insurance carriers, and other partners to resolve issues that impede cash flows and detract from patient or client satisfaction. Lead the productivity of department operations, and direct efforts to ensure successful outcomes. Your role will also monitor quality and productivity through reporting and associate management, identify trends and operational deficiencies, and manage corrective action plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes. Management to optimize standardized workflows across the billing process and solution capabilities will be pivotal in associate and client expectations.

Associate management will include but not be limited to managing routine associate situations, directing work efforts and results of the team of associates, and developing team goals and manage for results. Your role as manager also involves developing associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development planning while promoting diversity and creating a respectful work environment.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years of patient financial services, medical revenue cycle department or health care information technology work experience
  • At least 3 years of people management work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Associate’s degree
  • Previous acute care patient financial services experience
  • Previous experience managing acute care patient financial services team

Expectations:
 
  • Willingness and ability to work irregular hours and/or overtime as needed
  • Must live in or around the Kansas City metro area or be willing to relocate
